Providence is the Principle at Kazo Elementary School. I first met her when I came to visit the school last December. She is an exceptional teacher who deeply cares about the students. Here we are talking about ideas that we can develop to strengthen the capacity not only of the students at Kazo but engaging community members to be part of the learning process.

In 2002, the Rwandan community of BC was invited to participate at Creston Social Justice Symposium, where a Rwandan genocide Survivor Fracoise Rudahusha, joined Romeo Dallair and Bobby Wiseman a holocaust survivor to raise awareness of hate crime and genocide. As a result, the event was so successful that the good folks in Creston decided to sponsor 5 Kazo kids. Here we are missing Agnes.
