It's always exciting when the volunteer fire fighters come, with their equipment and their truck. They help to quell fears, to educate kids on fire safety, and to connect them with the community.

I love the way the sun looked on his hair as well...He has beautiful hair and wants to grow it long and I told him go for it--the chicks will dig it ;)
On a more serious note..we got a letter from the school stating that they are going to be testing ethan and he will probably be able to skip a couple grades or be in the smart kids classes..he is very intelligent...beyond his age of 7.
I worked with him when he was younger and still do. He got all A's on his progress report today. Im so proud of him.
I am signing him up for some drama classes as well..he is a natural and has many ideas..creative ideas..
He is interested in learning karate and he has started yoga :)
Its good for him to ground himself and balance out his energy now so, he will progress as he gets older to be happy and healthy
Its good for him to be aware of his energy and being in tune with his body and mind.
He is a pretty active child, asks a lot of questions --LOTS
He loves to explore and learn new things

Most people in this town are not at all involved with the education of their children..As I stated in an earlier post, the open house they had at the school I got to speak to ethans teacher for about an hr by ourselves because I requested it.
I do a lot for my son as far as his education is concerned because I know some of it is important..some of it is irrelevant..
